Which hotels would you recommend in Athens?
Keep in mind that we don't plan to stay at the hotel all the time. It will serve us just to sleep and take a shower. A clean,nice hotel.

"Athens Gate' - Cheap(reasonable) and beautiful view.
Reply:I agree with Ele. Yet, recently some friends from Canada, stayed in "Athens Gate" hotel which is in the center of Athens, They were very much satisfied of their stay and its wonderful view to Acropolis!!! This was something priceless they said!
Moreover, I take the bus (don't take car downtown, thank you! :))
from outside my home and in about 15 minutes, I am at your hotel, sweetie!!! heheheee
Reply:Divani Caravel Hotel in Athens was wonderful and where my husband and I stayed. The rooms were spacious, especially the bathrooms and very modern. The morning breakfast buffets were out of this world - we must have went up for more food 4-5 times. Definitely a worthwhile stay!
