Where are the best hotels in glasgow?
i am leaving in less than 3 weeks for glasgow and i need to know where the best place is to stay within walking distance of all the sights!
Where are the best hotels in glasgow?
The Millenium Hotel is right on George Square and next to Queen Street station for Edinburgh and the north of Scotland.The Underground is 200 yards away from the hotel and Glasgow tour buses leave George Square(you can hop on and off these buses as you wish with the one ticket)
Glasgow Cathedral is about 1/2 mile walking,the Lighthouse is about 300 yards away and many more attractions are within easy walking distance of both the Underground stations and tour bus stops.
The Hotel itself is nice with a terrace for the refreshment of your choice overlooking George Square and the Council Chamber Buildings(an impressive sight)
