Can you pretend that you are 1 person, and then invite your friends to your room, and let them sleep on the couch or in a sleeping bag?

In most cases no matter what hotel you rent from. Once the room is rented and unless otherwise posted its your room to invite who you want, no different than getting lucky so to speak

I've done it in the States, at motel-like places. Abroad they seem to be a little bit more careful--giving per person prices rather than per-bed prices.

Using the swimming pool might be pushing it--although if you say that they are staying somewhere else, maybe there's an additional fee they can pay to use the swimming pool? If you're going to a more expensive hotel, I think your chances of getting caught are fairly high.

Secondly most hotels now rent you the room at a flat rate for say max 4 people so then you are covered. I think you might have a problem if you try to put the whole football team into 1 room. They might just find out.

Reply:what you propose is theft through fraud. if you owned a business would you appreciate that? Neither do they. your mom should slap you up side the head.

Reply:Not necessarily cheat. You can do that but ask permission from the hotel. Cheating on hotels nowadays isn't really too possible because many hotels, especially high class ones have hidden cameras. Better do everything legally/known.
